The City of Tigard, in coordination with the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) and Metro, is in the process of developing the Tigard Greenway Trail System Master Plan. The purpose of the master plan is to provide the information needed to create and complete a comprehensive greenway trail system in Tigard.

The greenway trail system is a key component to having an active transportation system in Tigard. The greenway trails provide opportunities for residents to travel as pedestrians or by bicycle rather than by car. They also serve as a place for recreation. Current greenway trails in Tigard are:

  • Fanno Creek Trail;
  • Summer Creek Trail;
  • Path-Finder Genesis Trail; and
  • Tualatin River Trail.

The Tigard Greenway Trail System Master Plan will help determine extensions of the trials above as well as opportunities for new trails in Tigard.
